At the invitation of The Royal Green Jackets Management
Board, The Royal Green Jackets (Rifles) Museum has
produced this year’s official Regimental Christmas card.
The picture on the card is of a painting known as The
White Comrade by George Hillyard Swinstead (1860-1926).
It depicts Private Frederick Taylor of The King’s Royal
Rifle Corps being helped from a World War One
battlefield by an unknown medical orderly who is shown
looking up at the benevolent vision of Christ as he aids
the wounded soldier.
The cards are high quality, laminated, size: 115 x 165
mms (4½ x 6½ ins), with the words ‘with all good wishes
for Christmas and the New Year from’ inside.Cost
